Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Built for the hobbyist who just wants to keep track.

No more double buys

Your full inventory at a glance, by game line and faction. Know exactly what you own before you order.

Your recipes, always there

Your mixes, techniques, and painting notes - saved, searchable, shareable.

Import in 2 minutes

Already have a spreadsheet? Import it directly. Otherwise, scan your boxes with the camera.

The catalogue is built together.

We don't claim to have every figure in the world. The data comes from the community - you included. If your figure isn't there yet, you can add it in 30 seconds. That's how the catalogue grows, and why it stays accurate.

No partnership with Games Workshop or any other publisher. All catalogue data is contributed by users.

Frequently asked questions

What is Minidex?

Minidex is a free web app for miniature painters to track their collection, log paint progress, save step-by-step paint recipes, and manage a wishlist. The catalogue is community-driven: any user can add a figure in seconds.

Is Minidex free?

Yes. Minidex is free during its open beta, with no credit card required. A paid Pro plan with unlimited figures is planned for the future.

Which miniature brands and games does Minidex support?

Minidex is brand-agnostic. The catalogue covers any publisher — Games Workshop (Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar…), Privateer Press, Wyrd, and more. If a figure isn't listed yet, any user can add it in under a minute.

Can I import my existing collection from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Minidex accepts CSV and Excel files. You map your columns to Minidex fields (name, game line, quantity, paint status…), and the importer resolves duplicates and creates missing catalogue entries automatically.

What is a paint recipe on Minidex?

A paint recipe is a step-by-step guide that records which paints and techniques you used on a specific miniature — base coat, wash, dry brush, highlight, etc. Recipes can be kept private or shared publicly with the community.

How is the Minidex catalogue built?

The catalogue is entirely community-contributed. There is no partnership with any publisher. Users add figures, game lines, and publishers directly from the app. The more people use it, the more complete it becomes.
